Postponements

5.1 All postponement requests must be submitted in writing. A postponement does not constitute a cancellation.

5.2 One free postponement may be granted provided: (a) the request is made more than 120 days before the Event Date; and (b) Crazy Weds is available on the new proposed date.

5.3 Subsequent postponement requests may incur an administration fee at Crazy Weds’ discretion and may be subject to repricing at current rates.

5.4 If the postponed event falls in a different calendar year, pricing will be adjusted to rates applicable at the time of the new date.

5.5 All monies paid will transfer to the new confirmed date.

5.6 If no new date is proposed within 30 days of the postponement request, Crazy Weds reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled under Section 4, effective from the date the postponement request was first received.

5.7 Postponement requests received within 120 days of the Event Date will be treated as cancellations unless otherwise agreed in writing by Crazy Weds.

Force Majeure

6.1 Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under these Terms where such failure is caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control.

6.2 Force Majeure events include but are not limited to: extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemic, epidemic, government restrictions, war, terrorism, national strikes, road closures preventing access, or serious transport disruption.

6.3 Where Force Majeure prevents the event from taking place, Crazy Weds will first seek to agree an alternative date with the Client.

6.4 If rescheduling is not possible, all monies paid will be refunded less any non-recoverable costs already incurred in direct preparation for the event.

Travel & Fuel Surcharge

7.1 Package prices are based on the Venue being within a 50-mile radius of our base in Nottingham. No travel surcharge applies within this radius.

7.2 For Venues beyond 50 miles, a travel fuel surcharge of 70p per mile is applied to the return journey distance in excess of the 50-mile threshold. This is rounded to the nearest £5.

7.3 Distance is calculated using the straight-line distance from our base postcode to the Venue postcode. The actual surcharge will be confirmed in writing at the time of booking confirmation.

7.4 Crazy Weds does not accept bookings for Venues more than approximately 100 miles from our base (approx. 2 hours’ drive). Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion — please contact us to discuss.

7.5 The travel surcharge forms part of the total fee and is subject to the same payment and cancellation terms as the package price.

Example: A venue 80 miles from our base. Miles over threshold = 30. Round trip = 60 miles. 60 × 70p = £42, rounded to £45 surcharge.

Venue Requirements

8.1 It is the Client’s responsibility to confirm with the Venue prior to booking that sufficient flat, accessible space is available to install the mini golf course safely.

8.2 The course requires a minimum continuous flat area as specified by Crazy Weds at the time of enquiry. The exact space requirements vary by package.

8.3 Crazy Weds will not be liable for being unable to set up the course if the Venue does not provide the required space, suitable flooring, or adequate access.

8.4 The Client is responsible for ensuring adequate vehicle access and parking for a transit van at or near the Venue entrance. Where parking charges are incurred, Crazy Weds reserves the right to pass these on to the Client.

8.5 Crazy Weds requires up to 2 hours before and after the hired time slot for setup and dismantling. The Client must ensure the Venue accommodates this without additional charge to Crazy Weds.

8.6 If the Venue changes after booking is confirmed, the Client must notify Crazy Weds in writing immediately. Venue changes are subject to Crazy Weds approval and may affect pricing.

Weather & Site Conditions

9.1 The Client is responsible for ensuring the Venue provides suitable conditions for safe installation and operation of the Service on the Event Date.

9.2 Weather check call: Crazy Weds will proactively contact the Client by telephone 1–2 days before the Event Date to discuss the weather forecast and agree a plan. We monitor forecasts closely and will always give the Client as much notice as possible.

9.3 Shelter: Crazy Weds does not currently provide shelter tents or gazebos to cover the course. It is therefore strongly recommended that the Client confirms with their Venue in advance that a suitable indoor or covered space is available as a contingency in the event of poor weather.

9.4 Light rain & scattered showers: Crazy Weds is happy to set up and operate the course in light rain or scattered shower conditions, provided the Client and their guests wish to proceed. We will always defer to the couple’s preference in these circumstances.

9.5 Persistent heavy rain: Where the forecast for the Event Date shows persistent heavy rain throughout the day, and the Venue has no suitable indoor space available to relocate the course, Crazy Weds will agree with the Client that the Service cannot safely or practically proceed.

9.6 Full refund policy: In the circumstances described in 9.5 — persistent heavy rain forecast all day with no available indoor space — Crazy Weds will issue a full refund of all monies paid, including the £100 deposit. This refund will be processed within 14 days of the Event Date.

9.7 The determination of whether weather conditions meet the threshold for a full refund under 9.6 will be made jointly and reasonably by Crazy Weds and the Client during the weather check call referenced in 9.2, based on the available forecast at that time.

9.8 Where the Client chooses to proceed despite Crazy Weds’ professional recommendation not to due to weather conditions, no refund will be due if the Service is affected or curtailed as a result.

Our commitment to you: We know your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. We will never leave you out of pocket due to circumstances outside your control. If the British weather lets us both down and there’s genuinely nowhere to set up, you’ll get every penny back — no questions asked.

Health & Safety

10.1 Crazy Weds reserves the right to refuse access to the course or remove a participant where their behaviour poses a risk to themselves, other guests, or our equipment. This includes participants who are visibly intoxicated or acting in an aggressive manner.

10.2 Children under 16 remain the responsibility of their parent or accompanying adult at all times. Crazy Weds accepts no responsibility for the supervision of minors.

10.3 The course is not suitable for infants and they will not be permitted within the course area for their own safety.

10.4 Abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour from the Client’s guests, Venue staff, or any other party will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of the Service with no refund.

10.5 A copy of our Health & Safety Report and Risk Assessment is available on request and will be present at the event.

Damage & Loss

11.1 Crazy Weds does not accept liability for loss or damage to guests’ or the Venue’s personal property during the event. Guests play at their own risk.

11.2 Minor wear to the course during normal use is expected and accepted. However, the Client agrees that compensation may be sought for any loss of or damage to Crazy Weds’ equipment caused by deliberate, negligent, or malicious behaviour by guests or Venue staff.

11.3 Crazy Weds will provide a written assessment of any damage claimed within 7 days of the event.

Insurance

12.1 Crazy Weds holds Public Liability Insurance and will provide proof of this to the Venue upon request.

12.2 We recommend that Clients also take out appropriate wedding insurance to cover their event against unforeseen cancellation or postponement.

Photography & Marketing

13.1 Crazy Weds may take photographs and video footage during the event for use in our marketing, website, and social media channels.

13.2 By proceeding with a booking, the Client gives permission for Crazy Weds to use event imagery for promotional purposes. We will never sell images to third parties.

13.3 If the Client or any guest objects to being photographed or filmed, please notify Crazy Weds in writing prior to the event and we will respect this request.

Course Rules

The following rules apply to all players on the Crazy Weds mini golf course.

• No more than 4 players in a group on any one hole at a time.
• Holes must be played in sequential order. Hole jumping is not permitted.
• When putting, do not swing the club higher than knee height.
• Maintain at least one metre distance between players during putting.
• There is a 6 shot limit per hole — move to the next hole after 6 shots.
• If the ball leaves the course, replace it at the point it left with a one-stroke penalty.
• Do not touch, stand on, or interfere with any moving parts of the course obstacles.
• Players may only stand on designated putting areas — do not walk on other parts of the course.
• Do not hit the ball excessively hard — this is a game of putting, not driving.
• Children must remain under adult supervision at all times within the course area.
• Crazy Weds reserves the right to remove clubs and balls from any player behaving unacceptably and request they leave the course.

Privacy

15.1 Personal information provided during the enquiry and booking process will be used solely to: process and manage your booking; communicate with you about your event; and follow up after the event for feedback purposes.

15.2 We will never sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

15.3Your data is held securely and in accordance with UK GDPR. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting crazywedsgolfhire@gmail.com.

General Legal Terms

16.1 This contract is personal to the Client and may not be transferred to another party without Crazy Weds’ written consent.

16.2 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16.3 No third party shall have rights to enforce this contract under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

16.4 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Client and Crazy Weds in relation to the Service and supersede all prior discussions and representations.

16.5 This contract is governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or in connection with this contract.
